I believe it is possible however there is no proof here.
There was a glitch a while ago that allowed people to bring items into pre by meeting guildies in the hall and then simply trading them.
I'm not accusing you of exploiting a glitch, just saying its a possibility.
EDIT: Yea the glitch I was talking about was the one [ Apple ] just stated above, however they said in an update that they fixed it.
EDIT AGAIN: just noticed that [ Apple ] was responding to another post above his =P

For the record you don't need to farm charr to get to lvl 10 in pre. I have left pre with 2 characters at lvl 10. I did farm monsters but not charr, but it took a long time

Let's see if I have this correct:
You got all of this dye (which I believe) by some farming, but mostly trading.
What I don't get, is how...
Buy low, sell high? Farm till your fingers bled? Take advantage of new players? Gaile is your mom? What/How?
Really, how did you do it...specifically? I have no intention of following in your footsteps as I now have all six core professions over two accounts who have either finished the game or are very close to it.

Seems to be a lot of hate going on....why? Everyone plays this game a different way. No one should make fun of someone just because they've chosen a different way of exploring aspects of the game. (enough of the 5th grade guidance counselor, on with what I really want to say)
Grow up you infantile posers.
I doubt that Glob or Thor have done an original thing in this game....just look at their ultra-original names. The instant one of you can show me something original, I'll rescind your "poser" titles. Until then, follow the leader like I'm sure you've been doing the entire time you've played.

Its not that hard.... thanks to Tkob getting me started by buying my black dye (for 5k, yes) I then managed to buy/sell dyes until I was up to 16k. Then I lost my account and had to start all over, which I've gotten bored with and just been playing post lately :-p
So you finally left pre Tkob? Thats gonna give me even less incentive to try and rebuild my gold in pre. Oh well, at least I can still farm in post! I thought you were gonna keep all your gold in pre though? It was your huge accomplishment.

Kind of embarassing that some of the pre-searing guys and girls have more gold than all 4 of my post-searing chars put together.

I belive him... Its not hard to get that much just take alot of time. This is how you could got about infinite amount of black dyes... Than I got bored and left ...... But anyways all I did was farm until I got a couple of dyes sold them used that money to get more dyes at a cheaper price sell those etc.... Eventually you get alot of dyes......
